Before you apply for a private loan gather all of the necessary information that you will need: current address and phone, SS#, copy of your driver's license, a personal reference, and your employment information if it is applicable to the loan you want. You may find that you will need a cosigner on your loan. If you don't meet credit history, employment, or income requirements, odds are that you will need a cosigner.
